Billing and pricing
MCP Studio uses subscription pricing with optional usage-based overage. Start free, then upgrade when your context, traffic, or analytics needs grow.

New accounts also get a 30-day trial with Core, Action, and Predictive unlocked. The first MCP server created during the trial can use five included sources for life. After the trial, KPI cards, Calls Over Time, and Breakdown stay free. The request log requires Core.

After the 2 included sources, each additional source is $3.
Source size
Source size is measured in indexed chunks. A chunk is a small passage of your content — a section of a page, a code block, a function — stored so an AI agent can retrieve exactly the part that answers a question rather than a whole page.
The allowance is per MCP server and cumulative: every source on that server draws from the same pool rather than each getting its own.

For scale, a large documentation site typically indexes to somewhere between a few thousand and a few tens of thousands of chunks, depending on how much content it has.

MCP call packages
Paid MCP plans are subscriptions that auto-renew every 30 days unless canceled. Each step up also raises the indexed chunks you can store per server:

Usage-based fees (optional)
- $0.10 per request over your included monthly plan
- You can set a monthly budget cap
- Overage is charged as a consolidated line item at the next cycle renewal
Canceling subscriptions and deleting accounts
- You can cancel subscriptions at any time from your Stripe billing management flow.
- If you plan to delete your MCP Studio account, cancel paid subscriptions first.
- MCP Studio now shows this as a required action step during account deletion when paid plans are detected.
- After cancellation is confirmed, you can safely proceed with account deletion from Profile.
